Leads the monitoring and oversight of the EPC-2 Marine Contractor Teamfield planning, coordination and execution activities within designated area ofresponsibility across all disciplines.
Appraises the performance of the EPC-2 Marine Contractor Team insafety, quality, cost (as applicable) and schedule.
Evaluates field change proposals by the EPC-2 Marine Contractor Team tomanage the NFE Onshore Project’s management of change process.
Prepares and provides routine verbal and written progress reports tothe NFE Onshore Project Head of Marine Construction.
Ensures that the EPC-2 Marine Contractor Team develops, implements andsustains its Safety and Quality program at site.
Assist the EPC-2 Contractor in the coordination of activities between subcontractors and SIMOPSwith the operating facilities.
Key JobAccountabilities
Provides safety leadership by example to the NFEOnshore Project Team and the EPC-2 Marine Contractor Team, its sub-contractorsand site vendors
As delegated by the Construction Head Marine, the incumbent isresponsible for the implementation of the NFE Onshore Project Site Safetyprogram which includes the SHES Activity Schedule.
Responsible for ensuring the EPC-2 MarineContractor Team implements and sustains its obligations and responsibilitiesfor SHES project deliverables
NFE Onshore Project EPC-2 Team Constructionrepresentative for monitoring and coordinating site activities of the EPC-2 MarineContractor Team and its subcontractor(s) in their area of responsibility.
Reports on the construction activities, progress,areas of concern and mitigating actions. Leads appropriate weekly constructiondiscipline review meetings.
Prepares for and participates in weeklyconstruction review meetings.
Responsible for implementation of executionactivities and ensures development, review and approval (as required) ofappropriate plans, procedures, and programs for safe and effective execution.This includes authorization of RLIC permits.
Provides accurate, timely and routine reports tothe Head Marine Construction on project planning and execution activities
Reviews and approves the EPC-2 Marine ContractorTeam construction sequence plans, work plans, pre-task planning and methodstatements to ensure comprehensive safety and feasibility in their area ofresponsibility.
Leads incident investigations with support fromthe SHES organization.
Ensures Marine Contractor Team constructionactivities are completed in accordance with NFE Onshore Project procedures,regulations, specifications, standards, and permit to work procedures asapplicable, including relevant RLIC procedures.
Participates in the review of subcontracts andensures that adequate control and changes in work procedures are established.
Reviews and approves construction field changesand extra work requests as delegated by the Head Marine Construction.
Supervises and manages NFE Onshore Project Teamdirect report project personnel.
Assists NFE Onshore Project Construction Head MarineWorks in executing his responsibilities and acts in his behalf during hisabsence.
Demonstrates ability to plan and schedule work(short term and long term) and ensures execution of work plan by subordinates(as applicable).
Monitors and ensures the correction ofnon-conformance report items and other issues supporting QA/QC compliance.
Monitors site material handling, prefabrication and warehousingprocedures with respect to their area to facilitate construction progress.
MinimumRequirements
Bachelor or Associates degree in Engineering or Science
Recognized degree in engineering or construction management, and orprior work experience leading to a thorough understanding of the knowledgedescribed above.
Minimum fifteen (15) years’ experience and ten (10) years’ experience inproject marine works execution
Experience in major Construction Projects (including brown-field work)with total capital expenditure >USD$1 B
